I don't want to call this a blog but essentially, it is what it is.
Honesty hour. I haven't written anything in a long time - aside from the average cover letter and resume. I'm back in Gardiner, Montana for my third summer. The town without a stop light, a roaring river outside my window, the smell of fresh lilacs in bloom, and a bison jam or two.
These past few weeks, I've reflected a lot. I left California exhausted, adjourned, and ready for a fresh start. Rob and I packed up both of our belongings in his Subaru (if you can't fit your life into a car, you're doing it wrong) and took the journey north to Zion National Park. PLEASE. If you've made it this far in this post, PLEASE go to Southern Utah at some point in your life. It's one of the most beautiful regions I've ever traveled to. Photographic proof below
Once we settled into Gardiner, I invested in a new camera body and a new lens in hopes to create better quality images for my job this summer as The Flying Pig's Social Media Guru and Photographer. I'm also excited for a handful of weddings I've booked later on in the summer and fall!
Long time friend Andrea Pink created the most gorgeous branding designs for me. I'm really happy to finally have a professional logo and brand for my name.
I haven't stepped into The Yellowstone River's bitter cold waters yet but I'm sure my Yooper blood was genetically modified to endure the temps. Maybe.
Mom, Dad, Grandma and everyone else who checks in my adventures. Thank you for all of your support. Do me a favor and share my images, stories, and Jenna Thompson Photo contact info.
I hope you follow along.
